CISCO-MGX8800-IF-MAPPING-MIB.mib object view, vendor Stratacom
Introduction
Most network devices and programs ship with so-called MIB files to describe the parameters and meanings (i.e.: friendly names) which are available for monitoring via SNMP.
ActiveXperts Network Monitor 2024 can import vendor-specific MIB files, so it can be used to monitor specific OID's (Object Identifiers).
This way, you can monitor your devices, computers, etc. by selecting your relevant OID's by name.
ActiveXperts Network Monitor 2024 can import MIB file CISCO-MGX8800-IF-MAPPING-MIB and use it to monitor vendor specific OID's.

cmimIfType |
.1.3.6.1.4.1.351.150.7.1.1.1.1.3 |
The type of interface specified by cmimIfNumber.
|
cmimIfIndex |
.1.3.6.1.4.1.351.150.7.1.1.1.1.4 |
The value of the instance of the ifIndex object,
defined in MIB-II, for the interface corresponding
to the INDEXes specified in the table.

cmimPhysToIfTable |
.1.3.6.1.4.1.351.150.7.1.1.1 |
This table contains one or more rows, representing
mappings of physical or logical interfaces to ifIndex
values.
|
Object Identifier |
ciscoMGX8800IfMappingMIB |
.1.3.6.1.4.1.351.150.7 |
This MIB module is used for getting the ifIndex values
given physical location and/or logical information.
The physical information includes the slot, back-card
and physical line, IMA group ID, MFR (Multilink Frame Relay)
bundle etc. The logical information includes the logical
interface or virtual interface number.
In this MIB back card, bay, line module are used to
refer to the back card.
